Saudi Arabia's biggest real estate exhibition has become the latest major international event to be postponed, adding to disruptions affecting the Kingdom's investment, sports and business calendar.

Cityscape Global, originally scheduled for November 16–19 in Riyadh, will now take place on February 1–4, 2027.

Organisers said the November 2027 edition would proceed as planned, putting two editions of the property exhibition in the same year.

#TheBiggerPicture: The postponement follows changes to several high-profile events, including the Future Investment Initiative, the PIF Saudi International golf tournament, the FIFAe Finals and an EU-Gulf summit.

Saudi Arabia's Formula 1 race was also cancelled amid regional security disruptions.

Cityscape is more than a property exhibition. Its 2025 edition generated more than $63 billion in announced real estate deals and transactions, making it an important meeting point for developers, investors and government-backed projects.

#WhyItMatters: The disruptions are reaching beyond aviation into the events Saudi Arabia uses to attract investment and market its biggest projects internationally.

The delay also comes as the Kingdom prepares to open more of its property market to foreign buyers, making the timing particularly important for developers seeking international capital.
